As far as I know, Southern India is a hub for beautiful Silk Sarees. Range from low to high, traditional to fashionable and light to bright, all kind of silk sarees can be seen and purchased in ample amount day to day.

As far as I heard, on Quality, Design and Cost, Chennai gives you a best option for Saree Purchasing.I made visit to chennai for couple of times and roamed around the big shopping area of  T.Nagar. It has many saree retail stores like Pothys, Chennai Silk, Sri Krishna, and many more. Making visit to all the store will take the whole day, but its worth enough.

The range starts from Rs. 2000 onwards and goes higher based on the quality of the sarees. The color combination and lustre of the saree can attract anyone.

I noticed varieties of modern print silk sarees on shelf and sale in different shops.

If you are visiting Madurai, TamilNadu : Nalli Silk, Pothys are good choices of shop for silk sarees.

In bangalore, I found different varieties of silk sarees like paper silk, raw silk at Nalli Silk Shop and for modern designer saress one can look for  Rajalakshmi Textiles or Soch. Many other shops are there as well in chickpet area, but could not make a visit till now.

It was snow all around and ofcourse difficult to walk. Somehow we managed to reached there.

In meanwhile she explored the scenic beauty and captured them in her sony ericssion T700 mobile.

Opening ceremony was awesome, with the presentation notes by Ben Forta, Adobe Inc`s Director of Platform Evangelism.

Followed by Anne katherine Peteroe, She came long away from Norway to share her beauty and beautiful experience on Flex .She is an Enterprise platform Evangelist at Adobe.

Next, Harish Sivaramakrishnan, a computer scientist and platform Evangelist at Adobe Systems. His presentation on Flex and media were quite funny and interesting. His another presentation on “MVC Framework Demystified” was really  awesome.

Yash Mody, CTO of Tekno Point Multimedia, was the second best presenter, I believe, overall.He presented on “Why Flex 3 to Flex 4 and how”.He beautifully explained the pros and cons of migrating from Flex 3 to Flex 4.

Last, but not the least, my overall favorite presenter, Deepa Subramaniam, Product Manager for Flex SDK at Adobe Systems. Her topic of presentation was Adobe Flex 4/ Spark Internals. Thats was a pure technical session. She talked about new skinning contract introduced for Spark- based components, the new advanced layout system, new effects engine and graphics library added to the Flex 4 framework. Her another presentation on performance Tips and Trick was mindblowing.
